Acne is an inflammatory disease of the sebaceous glands and hair follicles of the skin that is marked by the eruption of pimples or pustules, especially on the face. Almost everyone is affected. It is a fact that acne is one of the most common skin problems prevalent among teens and adults. Many people are bothered when it suddenly form and erupt into the skin.
When the pores on your skin are clogged, you probably get acne. It may be caused by the rising hormone levels. You are more likely to suffer from it if there is family history of this disease. It can occur anywhere on the body, most often appearing on the face and shoulders.
Although acne usually goes better after adolescence, some may last into middle age. You may succeed with a good condition if following an effective treatment, but some may flare up from time to time. If you left it untreated or improperly dealt with, it will come to a real problem. It will leave the permanent scars and marks on the skin.
Eliminating it could be hard and very challenging. In these days there are many anti-acne treatments and procedures, but some of them may not work well. When you pick up these products and procedures, you should avoid products with almond or apricot shell fragments which can irritate or even tear your skin and further aggravate your acne.
Many people may not know proper sun exposure can improve acne. But you should avoid excessive exposure to sunlight or ultraviolet rays because it increases the risk of skin cancer which is much worse than acne.
Effective treatments are available in these days; therefore you do not need to feel desperate when you are dealing with it. You should choose a treatment which works best to you and then follow your procedure strictly.
